We have a portfolio of through-wall fire resistance testing, and products reaction to fire tests, utilising combinations of our products used in modern façade and wall systems. Testing and classification is carried out in accordance with recognized international standards, including BS EN 13501-1 &  BS EN 1364-1, depending on project and market requirements.

Our portfolio has results from various combinations of steel framing, sheathing and plasterboards & membrane. Each through-wall test evaluates:

• Integrity (E-rating): the ability of the system to prevent passage of flames and hot gases.
• Insulation (I-rating): the capacity to restrict temperature rise on the unexposed face.
• Provides a result of through-wall resistance, ie 60, 90 & 120 minutes

Results of the extensive testing carried out help provide evidence of compliance with European Classification (EN 13501-1) and requirements for compliance with Building Regulations and Building Standards, supporting both regulatory approval and certification.

All testing is conducted in accredited laboratories to ensure repeatability and validity of data.
